For Art’s Sake Art Studio and Gallery believes that children are intrinsically creative and that fostering their interests and curiosity is important for a child to thrive. All people deserve the opportunity to create and express their thoughts and feelings. For Art’s Sake Art Studio and Gallery is committed to guiding students of all ages and skill levels in the development of their individual expression through instruction in visual art techniques and methods as well as foundations of artistic theory. Above all we support and encourage our students to be themselves and have FUN in an accepting and comfortable environment.
OUR TEAM
Carolyn Marrs-Lowery from Gadsden, AL, graduated from Birmingham-Southern College with a degree in Art History and completed her Master’s in Art Education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Carolyn has 10 years of art teaching experience.
Jennifer Lewis from Birmingham, AL, graduated from Birmingham-Southern College with a degree in Psychology. Jennifer also studied art and art history in college but focused her career in Office/Operations Management where she has over 14 years of experience.
The two have been friends since college and decided to use their knowledge of art and operations to open a business sharing their passion for art with others.
